Alabama MGSQA Program Objectives
- Educate goat producers and other participants about everyday production practices that influence the safety, wholesomeness, and quality of goat meat products.
- Encourage goat producers to set realistic production standards in their operation.
- Increase awareness about the economic advantage of good production practices.
- Increase the competitive base for marketing Alabama goats.
- Increase awareness of and knowledge about drug usage, withdrawal times, and methods of administration.
- Increase awareness of systems for data retention and recordkeeping.
