Dispose of Syringes and Neddles Correctly

Store unused needles in a protected area, and dispose of used needles following these guidelines:

1. Place in a container with a secure lid.

2. Place the container in a rigid cardboard box lined with plastic. Used syringes and needles should be stored in a “sharps container,” or in a container specifically marked for storage. 

DO NOT ALLOW USED NEEDLES OR SYRINGES TO ENTER NORMAL GARBAGE SYSTEMS.
