Children blossom when they are recognized for their achievements. Whether it's a blue ribbon for a child who won a baking contest, a pin for a girl who completed a science project, or a trophy or plaque for a boy who won a public-speaking contest, rewarding youngsters for their hard work gives them incentive and builds self-esteem.

Expanding Alabama's recognition of youth with project awards and scholarships' and supporting them in achieving educational excellence is the primary objective for this endowment.

Permanent funding of scholarships will mean all children can attend camps as well as participate in district, state and national competitions.
