The new 4-H Environmental Education and Natural Resources program will capitalize on the Center’s natural environment. Alabama 4-H’ers need classroom learning facilities, laboratory equipment, and lecture and meeting rooms. Additional classroom meeting space will support an expanded program for Alabama youth in environmental education, complementing the natural outdoor laboratory experiences. Space will be provided for classroom lectures, hands-on wet-lab experiences, group learning sessions, interactive training opportunities and current science-based education grounded in sound science research from our partner land-grant institutions.
