Q : What is this campaign all about?

The Alabama 4-H Club Foundation, Inc., is raising a total of $8 million: $6 million to add new facilities at the 4-H Center at Columbiana, and $2 million to provide much needed cash and endowment for programs at the county and district level. Q : Who came up with the list of needs ?

In response to the need for an environmental education facility to serve the entire state of Alabama, the Alabama 4-H Club Foundation, Inc. Board of Directors and staff developed the plan for an addition to the 4-H Center in Columbiana. The 4-H Environmental Education Center will be dedicated to objective, research-based, sound science environmental education. In addition, every district and county agent was asked to provide a list of needs for his/her area. There are more than 300 items on the list, including scholarships, awards, equipment, facilities and program support.
