New Rooms and Environmental Center

With this facility, Alabama 4-H Center's Coosa River Science School program will be better equipped to teach Alabama youth and educators about protecting and enhancing the environment in a facility unlike anything currently in Alabama.

17,500 square feet of interior space, covering two floors
Constructed of stone, concrete, wood, glass and steel
Auditorium with seating capacity to 280 people
Three seminar rooms for classes, meetings and conferences
Two large laboratory classrooms
1,050-square-foot observation deck nestled in the treetops
Live animal display area on second floor
Rainwater systern and filtration system used for restrooms and fire sprinkler system
The latest in air quality, indoor environment, and energy efficiency guidelines
