State Dairy Poster Winner, Cara Parker
Each year, Extension Dairy Specialist Boyd Brady sets the Dairy Poster theme and then waits with expectation.
This year, there were more than 5,000 youth from 40 Alabama counties who participated in the statewide program at the county and state level.
Seith Rankins of Lee County and Cara Parker of Cherokee County won top honors in the statewide Alabama 4-H Dairy Poster Contest.
The Diary Poster Contest provides and opportunity for boys and girls to learn more about milk, milk products and milk production and is sponsored by the American Dairy Association of Alabama, The Alabama Cooperative Extension System and Alabama 4-H.
