Welcome to the Alabama 4-H Science School
The Alabama 4-H Science School is a residential environmental education program celebrating its 20th Anniversary during the 2014-2015 school year. Located along the banks of Lay Lake at the Alabama 4-H Center, the 4-H Science School offers outdoor, adventure, and science-based curriculum for youth of all ages. It is an opportunity for youth from across the state to have an introduction to 4-H, while meeting the curriculum needs of educators and administrators in a beautiful and unique outdoor setting.
The 4-H Science School provide hands-on learning experiences that enable youth to become comfortable in the outdoors while developing a sense of pride in the wonderful biodiversity of their state. For groups that cannot visit us at the 4-H Center, we can meet your educational needs through our live animal outreach programs, the 4-H Raptor Trek and the 4-H Herp Journey.
